Business Systems Analyst Associate
Salary: £45,013 + Excellent Benefits
Location: High Wycombe / Hybrid Working (2 days per week in the office, 3 days working from home)
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

About the Role
As a Business Systems Analyst Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting the Business Intelligence and Solutions Teams. This role is designed to help you learn system configuration, data migration, report creation, and system testing, offering a clear pathway to grow within the field of business systems analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Testing:
- Assist in gathering and understanding business requirements for system changes.
- Support the design and testing of systems to ensure they meet business needs.
- Document system designs and project requirements with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Report Creation:
- Build and maintain reports using SQL or similar tools to meet business requirements.
- Support senior colleagues in critiquing and improving report specifications.
- Data Migration:
- Participate in data migration activities, including data mapping, testing, and reconciliation tasks.
- Learn how to ensure the accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
- System Configuration:
- Assist with system configuration tasks, starting with basic areas like user-defined fields and workflows.
- Gain experience with more complex systems, including Civica CX.
- Second-Line Support:
- Help investigate Service Desk tickets, supporting the resolution of technical issues.
- Learn to provide effective, clear communication when assisting users with system-related problems.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow in the business systems and data analysis field. You will have an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Willingness to learn system design and configuration.
- An investigative and logical mindset, eager to develop technical skills.
- Strong time management and organisation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate professionally.
- Understanding of basic business processes and problem-solving approaches.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Basic report-building skills using SQL or similar tools.
- Awareness of business analysis techniques.
- Previous experience in a technical or analytical role.
- A basic understanding of the social housing sector.
